The combined businesses of Wire Products Company and Globe Pipe Hanger Products Inc. (the “Company”, or “Wire Products”), is a Cleveland Ohio-based, second-generation family business that provides a full-service solution for the manufacture of highly-complex, close tolerance precision machined components and products for the facility service, automotive, industrial, and aerospace industries, among others. The Company’s Globe Pipe Hanger division manufactures the proprietary SilverHawk and GrayHawk product lines, which provide a unique pipe hanging solution for the fire protection, plumbing, and mechanical service industry.

The Result
In an effort to provide the Shareholders with liquidity, and to continue to support the Company’s strategic growth plans, MelCap Partners was able to successfully identify the most logical strategic partner for the business, Sioux Chief Manufacturing (“Sioux Chief”). Sioux Chief is a national leader in the design, engineer, and manufacture of a diverse range of products and solutions for the plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and mechanical construction industries. Sioux Chief, headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri, is a family-owned and founded business, and the acquisition of Wire Products provides a highly-strategic addition of products and components for the fire protection and mechanical service space, as well as three manufacturing facilities in Cleveland, Ohio.
