Frazer & Jones Company, a division of The Eastern Company (NASDAQ:EML), is a high quality ductile and malleable iron foundry that has been in business for over 150 years in Syracuse, New York.

The Result

In an effort to divest Eastern of certain non-core businesses, and to continue to provide support for Frazer & Jones’ strategic growth plans, MelCap was able to successfully identify the best buyer for the business. As a result, Frazer & Jones was sold to Fidelis Holdings, LLC, headquartered in Bingham Farms, MI. Fidelis is a holding company that owns and acquires manufacturing companies in the highly engineered product space.
