Calibration Services, Inc. (“CSI” or the “Company”), is a calibration services provider that principally specializes in the on-site calibration of mechanical testing, linear measurement, force measurement, and other specialty equipment. Founded more than 40 years ago and based in Emlenton, Pennsylvania — CSI maintains the ANAB accredited ISO 17025 / ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994 and ANSI/NCSL Z540.3-2006 certifications. Furthermore, the Company’s well-trained technicians serve customers throughout the United States — as well as the British Virgin Islands.
Services Provided
MelCap served as the exclusive investment banker and financial advisor to CSI through the sale of the business. We would like to thank Bill and Jameen Stump, the shareholders of CSI, for hiring MelCap to represent them in the sale of the business. The Result
In an effort to achieve ownership’s goals and objectives, and to support the Company’s strategic growth plans, MelCap was able to successfully identify the ideal buyer for the business. As a result, CSI was sold to Accredited Labs, headquartered in Dallas, TX. Accredited Labs offers calibration solutions for a wide range of mission-critical test and measurement equipment, as well as complementary repair services and equipment sales. Since the acquisition of Accredited Labs by Incline Equity Partners (“Incline”), a Pittsburgh, PA based private equity firm, Accredited Labs has grown substantially both organically, as well as through strategic acquisitions. Aldinger’s acquisition of CSI represents meaningful expansion into specialty on-site mechanical, linear, and force measuring equipment.
