Oak Pointe, LLC (“Oak Pointe” or the “Company”), founded in 1996 and headquartered in Newcomerstown, OH, is a nationally recognized custom manufacturer of high-quality and innovative millwork and stair parts. Oak Pointe offers a comprehensive collection of catalog and custom millwork products – including stair components, handrails, newels, balusters, columns, kitchen island columns, table pedestals, lamp components, fittings, and other complementary products and components. Over the last several years, Oak Pointe has invested in state-of-the-art machinery and equipment – including a 6-axis router – which, augmented by its portfolio of mill-work equipment, allows the Company to deliver the highest quality stair parts and components.
Services Provided
MelCap served as the exclusive investment banker and financial advisor to Oak Pointe through the sale of the business. We would like to thank David Weissman and Brian Adelson, shareholders of Oak Pointe, for hiring MelCap to represent them in the sale of the business. It was an honor and pleasure to work with the Company throughout this exciting process.
The Result
In an effort to achieve ownership’s goals and objectives, and to support the Company’s strategic growth plans, MelCap was able to successfully identify the ideal buyer for the business. As a result, Oak Pointe was sold to Evermark LNL, LLC (“Evermark”), headquartered in Suwanee, GA. Evermark is a premier manufacturer of stair parts, doors, railing & moulding, hinges & hardware – as well as other solution-centric products. Evermark – an Employee Stock Ownership (“ESOP”) company – employs nearly 1,000 team members and operates 7+ manufacturing facilities. Oak Pointe represents an exciting chapter in Evermark’s growth story – as it will be its first manufacturing operation in the Midwest – and adds meaningful product expansion and capacity, particularily within its catalog and custom product categories.
