The Smith & Oby Company is a leading mechanical contractor in the Midwest, providing a variety of valuable technical services and core capabilities, which include plumbing and process piping, HVAC installation, repair and maintenance services, sheet metal fabrication, project budgeting and estimating, and engineering and 3D-Building Information Modeling. The Company primarily serves the healthcare, education, commercial & industrial, and civic end markets.

As a result, Smith & Oby was sold to McNally Capital headquartered in Chicago, IL. McNally Capital is a family-owned private equity firm targeting thesis-driven investments in the U.S., specifically in founder and management owned companies.
