Port 45 Recovery (“Port 45” or the “Company”) is a leading provider of behavioral healthcare, offering premier treatment and rehabilitation services focused on drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health. The Company currently leverages 2 treatment centers in Portsmouth and Columbus, Ohio, 4 Safe Harbor houses, and a team of 57 employees to provide compassionate support to patients throughout Central and Southern Ohio.

In an effort to provide Ms. Staley with liquidity, and to continue to support Port 45’s strategic growth plans, MelCap was able to successfully identify the most logical buyer for the business. As a result, Port 45 was sold to Sunrise Treatment Center (“Sunrise”), headquartered in Cincinnati, OH, a portfolio company of Bridges Fund Management (“Bridges”). Sunrise provides a comprehensive outpatient treatment program, which offers safe, effective, and evidence-based care to meet the treatment needs of adults struggling with substance use disorders. The acquisition of Port 45 is essential in augmenting Sunrise’s strategic growth initiative to expand its geographic footprint throughout the state of Ohio.
