Northeast Box Company (“NEBC” or the “Company”), headquartered in Ashtabula, Ohio, and founded in 1978, is a leading custom packaging products manufacturer, specializing in the custom design, assembly, and distribution of corrugated packaging serving industrial and retail industries.

MelCap Partners served as the exclusive investment banker and financial advisor to NEBC through the sale of the business. As a result, NEBC was sold to Welch Packaging (“Welch”), headquartered in Elkhart, IN. Founded in 1985, Welch, a family-owned business, has grown to be a network of packaging companies concentrated in the Midwest and Midsouth serving over 1,400 associates. Welch provides industrial packaging, retail ready packaging, and offers assembly and fulfillment services. Additionally, Welch serves customers from 18 manufacturing facilities, 2 distribution centers, and a packaging supply business.
