The M&A Advisor announced the winners of the 13th Annual International M&A Awards. MelCap Partners was named Boutique Investment Bank of the Year – North America. In addition, MelCap Partners was also awarded Industrials Deal of the Year for the sale of Applied Vision to Antares Vision. The awards will be presented at a Black-Tie Gala on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 in New York City.

MelCap Partners was nominated for the Entrepreneur of the Year award at the 2021 Medina County Business Awards, held by the Medina County Economic Development Corporation. This award honors a Medina County-owned/operated business that demonstrates substantial innovation in a product, production methods, market creation/development, and/or demonstrating rapid growth or potential for significant growth. We are grateful for the nomination and recognition among many nominees in this category and others, which included Business Growth, Outstanding Community Advocate, and Capital Investment.

The M&A Advisor, 2021 Divestiture Deal of the Year, 15th Annual Turnaround Awards

The M&A Advisor announced the winners of the 15th Annual Turnaround Awards. MelCap Partners, LLC (“MelCap Partners”) was named a winner for the Divestiture Deal of the Year category for its involvement in the sale of the Food Service Division of The Homer Loughlin China Company to Steelite International, a portfolio company of Arbor Investments. The awards will be presented during a gala dinner on Wednesday, September 29 at the New York Athletic Club.

Global M&A Network, 2021 Outstanding Restructuring Firm for Boutique Investment Banking Firm

Winners of the industry’s most prestigious awards were presented at a virtual ceremony celebration on Tuesday, June 27, 2021. MelCap Partners, LLC (“MelCap Partners”) was named a winner for the Outstanding Restructuring Firm for Boutique Investment Banking Firm.

In addition, MelCap Partners served as exclusive investment banker in the sale of the Food Service Division of Homer Laughlin China Company to Steelite, a portfolio company of Arbor Investment. This transaction was recognized as a winner of the Out of Court Restructuring Deal of the Year – Small Markets award.

ACG Cleveland Meritorious Service Award

In 2011, the Association for Corporate Growth® (ACG Global) awarded MelCap Partners President Al Melchiorre with its annual Meritorious Service Award. Nominated by peers, recipients of this award are recognized for their contributions to ACG through volunteerism and achievement. Al has been active in ACG Cleveland for nearly 30 years, which he joined in 1992. He served on its board for over 10 years, was president 1997–1999, and served as chair of the second Great Lakes ACG Capital Connection.
